Crazy as a fox

I believe in something so perfectly basic that society fails to witness. I am the artist that gazes into the horizon and touches velvet clouds with his imagination. I am the child running through the park with friends that only I can see. I am the parent who looks at every child as if they were my own. I am the spirit who comforts your heart when my voice cannot be heard. I am the hand that is offered when you fall down.
I am the inspiration you find when you stand upon a street corner and wonder if anyone loves you. I am the friend forever present as you listen to music that nourishes your soul. I am the light of the flickering candle as I dance to a melody only you can hear. I am the touch of silk as it falls gently across your neck. I am the clock trying to freeze itself in time as you look upon my face. I am the door you open and pause under as you wonder about the thing behind you. I am the sun that caresses your face like the morning dew giving life to nuture your growth.
I am simply someone who loves you, even when no one else is there.
