Relation to Life

I haven’t done too much comparison poetry for a while so I did this. I needed to relate some of my feelings for everyday items in life to how life feels sometimes. That while something may be broken or incomplete it still has value.
Relation to life
A rope with many knots
 Strong yet tangled
   Complete yet broken
A window with a crack
 Broken yet whole
   Solid yet transparent
A life without hope
 Survivable yet painful
   Existing yet pointless
A canvas without paint
 White yet textured
   Blank yet defining
A sky without clouds
 Clear yet plain
   Vibrant yet subtle
A person without love
 Alive yet lost
   Searching yet forsaken
