I once said,
that I cared
beyond belief,
past everything else.

That I had
nothing, but a dream
a reason to be,
simple, steady, calm.

Then I met you,
Awakened my heart,
rustling the emotion
of quiet autumn wind.

I whispered,
I love you,
as my breath fell
against your neck.

Another night,
when I lost myself
forgetting who I am,
feeling this memory.
